CLARA JEAN SEELEY,

89, of Cass City, died Friday, September 9, 2011 in Tuscola County Medical Care Facility, Caro. She was born June 7, 1922 in Detroit to Arthur and Clara (Rose) Bunker. She married Earnest Ray Seeley July 14, 1940 in Trinity United Methodist Church, Cass City. He died February 26, 1999.

Clara worked for Nestles Milk Company, the telephone company before it became GTE, and she worked as a secretary for Cass City Community Schools. She retired from Caro Regional Center as a receptionist and switchboard operator. Clara was a member of Cass City United Methodist Church and the United Methodist Women. She was also a member of Cass City Art Club. She enjoyed her monthly Canasta games. Clara was a Brownie and Girl Scout leader for many years. But most important to Clara was spending time with family and friends.

Clara is survived by her daughter, Carol (William) Ehrlich of Gagetown; grandson, William (Camille) Ehrlich, Jr.; great grandson, Austin; sister-in-law, Donna Seeley; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral service held 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in Kranz Funeral Home Cass City with Rev. Jackie Roe of Cass City United Methodist Church officiating. Interment will be in Elkland Township Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Cass City United Methodist Church or Rawson Memorial Library.
