Clara A. Seeley

Mrs. Clara A. Seeley, 79, of 84 Crandall St., Glens Falls, died Monday (June 6, 1977) at her home after an extended illness.

She was born Nov. 26, 1897 in Fort Ann, the daughter of George and Agnes (Hunt) Washburn.

Survivors include her husband, Clifton I. Seeley; five sons, Ward of Hudson Falls, Clifton of South Glens Falls, Robert of Glens Falls, and Gerald and Donald both of Queensbury; two daughters, Mrs. Milford (Eleanor) Eggleston of South Glens Falls and Mrs. Paul (Virginia) Rainbow of Hagerstown; two brothers, Arthur Washburn of Hudson Falls and Kenneth Washburn of South Carolina; a sister, Mrs. Edith Burns of Allentown, Pa.; 28 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Carleton Funeral Home, 68 Main St., Hudson Falls. Rev. Lawrence Larson, pastor of the Gospel Lighthouse Assembly of God Church of Hudson Falls, will officiate.

Interment will be in Moss Street Cemetery, Town of Kingsbury.

Friends may call from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
