Charles Seeley Sr.
Presho – Services for Charles Seeley Sr., 84, will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church at Presho. The Rev. Clark Christian will officiate. Burial will be in Presho Cemetery under direction of Hofmeister Funeral Home of Presho.
Seeley died Friday at Mary House in Pierre after a long battle with cancer.
He was born Dec. 8, 1898, in Allen, Neb., to Herbert and Carrie Seeley. He grew up in Meckling and served in the armed forces during World War I. He later attended barber school and was a barber is Presho. He married Elizabeth Smith April 21, 1924. He retired in 1966 and continued to live in Presho.
Surviving are his wife of Presho; one daughter, Mrs. Irvin (Charlotte) Lien of Presho; one son, Charles Seeley Jr. of Greeley, Colo.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.
