Charles R. Seeley
Charles R. Seeley, 96, of 516 Pacific Ave., died Sunday evening, Feb. 19, 1984, at Barley’s Kingston Court Nursing Home. He was the husband of Ethel (Hendershot) Seeley.
The Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 W. Market St., is in charge of arrangements, which were incomplete.

Charles R. Seeley Sr.
Charles R. Seeley Sr., 96 of 516 Pacific Ave., who was freight and passenger agent for the Pennsylvania Railroad for 52 years, died at 7:40 p.m. Sunday, Feb. 19, 1984, at Barley’s Kingston Court Nursing Home. He was the husband of Ethel (Hendershot) Seeley.
The service will be 11 a.m. Friday at the Robert F. Koller Funeral Home Inc., 2000 W. Market St. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Northumberland. Viewing will be 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the Salvation Army, 50 E. King St., York, 17401.
He was born in Kingston, the son of the late Charles S. and Mary Ellen (Renner) Seeley. He was a member of First Presbyterian Church, a member since 1912 of the Free and Accepted Masons Lodge 404, a past president of the York Rotary Club and the York Traffic Club, and a past president and life member of the York Area Chamber of Commerce. He served on the board of directors and was a past treasurer of the White Rose Motor Club, and was a board member of the Salvation Army.
Mr. Seeley also is survived by a son, Charles R. Seeley Jr., 755 Hardwick Place, a granddaughter and two great-grandchildren.
Officiating will be his pastor, the Rev. Blair R. Monie, of First Presbyterian Church, and the Rev. Roy Townsend.
