WEST COLUMBIA – Cecile S. Sealey, 93, of West Columbia, wife of the late Stephen Sealey, passed away Thursday, September 10, 2015.
She was born on February 17, 1922 in Chapin to the late Thomas and Lila Mae Shealy Slice. She retired from General Electric and was a member of Green Hill Baptist Church.
Surviving are one daughter, Diane Barrow (Wayne); three sons, James Douglas (Pat), Dennis (Lynn) and Donald Sealey; one sister, Frances Derrick; a daughter-in-law, Janice Sealey; ten grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents and husband she was predeceased by a son, Stephen Sealey Jr.; six sisters and six brothers.
Funeral will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, September 14, 2015 at Green Hill Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Woodridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. Sunday, September 13, 2015 at Thompson Funeral Home of Lexington.
