Carol A. Seeley, 70, of Rome, New York, passed away, Tuesday, January 8, 2013 in the Rome Center Nursing and Rehabilitation.
She was born January 22, 1942 in Utica the daughter of LeRoy and Izetta Edgett Smith.
Carol was a graduate of Oriskany High School.
On March 17, 1960 she married Frank Seeley.
Carol was employed at the Eastern Star Home and later was a cashier at WalMart for several years.
She was a member of Rome United Methodist Church.
Carol was an avid Bingo player.
Surviving are her husband, Frank, three daughters and two sons-in-law, Lorraine and Charles Bassett, Rome; Christine and David Partridge, Taberg; Carrie Seeley, Utica; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Glenn Seeley, Rome; Howard and Eileen Seeley, Chesapeake Beach, Maryland; Keith Seeley, Lowville; one brother, Howard Smith, Oriskany, thirteen grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by three sisters, Ruth Sheppard, Marjorie DeVoe, Jane Smith and two brothers, Francis and Walter Smith.
Services: Memorial services will be held at the Nunn and Harper Funeral Home, Inc., 418 N. George Street, Rome Friday 6:00PM with Rev. Alan Howe officiating.
