Beverly Jean “Betts” Seeley

November 29, 1932 – June 2, 2018

Beverly Jean “Betts” Seeley, 85 of Sundance, Wyoming, passed away in the early morning hours of June 2, 2018 at Crook County Memorial Hospital in Sundance, Wyoming. She was surrounded by her children and grandchildren.

Betts was born to Richard and Florence (Linton) Schulze on November 29, 1932 in Mantorville Village, Minnesota. She graduated from Sundance High School and then worked as a telephone operator. On February 14, 1954, Betts married Tommy E. Seeley, and they lived together on the Seeley Ranch in Sundance, Wyoming. Together they raised two children, Tia Dian and Todd Tom.

Betts was a ranch wife and stay at home mother. She was a longtime member of the Sundance United Methodist Church. She was active in the Crook County Cattlewomen for many years and was an avid bridge player. She was involved in her children’s school as Room Mother while they were in elementary school. In later years she enjoyed traveling to many places with her group of girlfriends.

She leaves as her legacy two children and three grandchildren: Tia Seeley and husband Tim Feist of Lake Charles, Louisiana; Todd Seeley, wife Robin and three grandchildren, Skye Ryan, Jaslyn Rob, and Parker Tom, all of Sundance, Wyoming.

She was preceded in death by Tommy, her loving husband of 37 years; her parents, Richard and Florence Schulze; one sister, Dorothy Schulze Lewis; and three brothers, Richard “Dick” Schulze, Fred Schulze, and Carl Schulze.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 A.M. on Monday, June 11, 2018, at Green Mountain Cemetery in Sundance.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Crook County Senior Services Public Transportation Program in Sundance, Wyoming.

The family also expresses many thanks to the staff of Crook County Senior Services Public Transportation Program, Sundance Assisted Living, and Crook County Memorial Hospital for the excellent care Betts was given in the last years and weeks of her life.

Arrangements are under the care of Fidler-Roberts & Isburg Funeral Chapel of Sundance.
