LUMBERTON — Betty Lou Sealey, formally of Rowland, was born in Robeson County on Sept. 28, 1948, to the late James Clifford Sealey and Lolether Sweat Sealey and was born into eternity June 4, 2016, at Southeastern Regional Medical Center, completing her journey of 67 years.
Ms. Betty enjoyed spending time with her family, friends and church family.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by 10 siblings, James L. Sealey, Earl C. Sealey, William P. “Toddy” Sealey, Janice Stylanions, Anice Hunt, Jessie Hammonds, Alene Hunt, Irine M. Sealey, Elsie M. Sealey and Annie L. Sealey.
She leaves to cherish two sisters, Lettie Mae Jacobs of Rowland and Nancy Louise Hunt of Charlotte; two brothers, Levon Sealey of Rowland and Jimmy O. Sealey of Charlotte; and many other nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
The funeral will be at 3 p.m. Thursday at Benson Chapel Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
Visitation will be from 7 until 9 p.m. today at Boles Funeral Home in Rowland.
