BARBARA JOAN SEELEY AGE: 70 BUNNVALE
Barbara Joan (Voorhees) Seeley, 70, of Bunnvale, NJ, died at 6:30 a.m., Thursday, Jan. 14, 2010, at the Country Arch Care Center in Pittstown, NJ, after a long struggle with emphysema. Barbara was born August 13, 1939 to Walter and Ethel (Tweeddale) Voorhees in New Market (now Piscataway), NJ. Barbara lived up on “the hill” in Bunnvale for nearly 50 years. She worked as a school bus driver for Polt Bus Company and as an accounts payable clerk for Kinedyne Corporation in Branchburg. Barbara was an avid reader and loved to be at the beach or out in the sun as much as possible!
Barbara was preceded in death by her husband, Charlie “Pop” Seeley and sister, Jean Martin. She will be dearly missed by her surviving family members including her children, sons, Richard Michalek and his wife, Dene of Temple, TX and Robert Lomerson, and his wife, Denise of Nashville, TN; daughters, Susan Schmidt and her companion, Don Sigler of Ferndale, PA and Sherry Kyle, and her husband, Fred of Flemington, NJ; sister, Judy Petrick and her husband, Bernard of East Stroudsburg, PA, as well as twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, Jan. 22, 2010 at 8:30 p.m. in the Holcombe-Fisher Funeral Home, 147 Main Street, Flemington, NJ. Interment in Lake Nelson Memorial Park, Piscataway, NJ, will be private. Calling hours will be Friday from 2:00-4:00 and 7:00-8:30 p.m. in the Funeral Home.
