Arthur Seelye, Jr. age 62 of Paducah passed away at 1:50 a.m. Tuesday, July 24, 2018 at his home. Arthur was a member of Trinity Baptist Church and a 1973 graduate of Paducah Tilghman High School and attended University of Kentucky for two years. He participated in Special Olympics and worked at Easter Seals West Kentucky.
Arthur was an avid sports fan, enjoying UK Basketball, St. Louis Cardinals Baseball, Murray State University athletics and Paducah Tilghman Baseball. He could be found at all of Paducah Tilghman home baseball games.
Survivors include two sisters, Gaile Hayes of Paducah and Susan Seelye-Swarting (Finn) of New Canaan, Conneticut; one brother, William “Will” Seelye of Nashville, Tennessee; two nieces, Anna Hayes and Linnea Swarting; one nephew, Bjorn Swarting; two uncles, one aunt and several cousins.
Preceding in death were his parents, Arthur L. Seelye, Sr. & Sue Torian Seelye.
Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, July 30, 2018 at Milner & Orr Funeral Home of Paducah with Rev. Brittany Riddle officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens.
Visitation will be held on Monday, July 30, 2018 beginning at 12:00 noon until service time at the funeral home.
