Mr Arthur Franklin Sealey, 59
CHESTER – Mr. Arthur Franklin Sealey, 59, of Cassels Road died Wednesday, Feb. 9, 2011, at Hospice and Community Care in Rock Hill.
He was the husband of Lynn Helms Sealey. He was born in Lockhart to the late James and Leverl Hopper Sealey. Frank was retired from Chester School District and had also spent many years working as a sewing machine mechanic in Chester. Frank was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and Sandy River Masonic Lodge. He enjoyed serving and assisting his friends and neighbors.
He is also survived by a son, Jamie Sealey and his wife, Erin, of Chester; a sister, Jenny S. Ward of Myrtle Beach; and a brother, Jerry Sealey of North Augusta.
He was predeceased by a sister, Janice Sealey.
The funeral will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at Calvary Baptist Church, 760 Calvary Church Road, Chester and officiated by Rev. David Sealy, Rev. Chris Snelgrove and Rev. Irvin Plowden. The family will receive friends in the church’s social hall immediately following the ceremony.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggest that memorials may be made to Calvary Baptist Church Local Ministries Fund, 610 Calvary Church Road, Chester, SC 29706; or the Salkehatchie Program, c/o Capers Chapel United Methodist Church, 1791 Lowrys Highway, Chester, SC 29706.
Frank’s committal will be private.
