68 Descendants Survive Him
Arthur B. Seelye, retired Meade County farmer, died at 2:10 p.m. yesterday at the home of a daughter, Mrs. Irene Oller, 1531 W. Broadway. He was 80.
Seelye, who retired 15 years ago, left 68 direct descendants.
Besides Mrs. Oller, survivors include two other daughters, Mrs. John Cockeral and Mrs. Richard Henon: three sons, John Seelye, Watertown, N.Y., and Herbert Seelye: two brothers, Richard Seelye, Vine Grove, Ky., and Joe Seelye, Pleasure Ridge Park, 27 grandchildren and 35 great-grandchildren.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Hardy Funeral Home, 4101 Dixie Highway. Burial will in Louisville Memorial Gardens.
