Alan Eugene Cilley Jr. was born April 24, 1950 in Corning, New York to Bonnie LeBaron Cilley and Alan Eugene Cilley . The family moved to Arizona in 1952 for Alan’s asthma. Alan is survived by his 5 children, Troy Alan Cilley, Jeromy Eugene Cilley, Zachary Byron Cilley, Rigby Nicole Cilley, and Riley Danielle Cilley as well as by his Mother, Bonnie LeBaron Cilley, his 2 sisters Dawn Thurmond and Mitzi Phillips and his 2 brothers, Scott Cilley and Brent Cilley. He has 4 grandchildren, Chase Alan Cilley, Jake Troy Cilley, Clover Crow Cilley and Saturn Cedar Cilley. He is preceded in death by his Father, Alan Eugene Cilley and his infant daughter, Noni Mirave Cilley. Alan was a gymnast in school. He married Candace Wolfe when he was 17 and had his own drywall company for many years. Candace and Alan had sons, Troy and Jeromy. In 1977 he married Donna LaVonne Thorpe and they had Noni, Zack, Rigby and Riley. In those 19 years, Alan had a drywall company, built apartments and homes and sold Real Estate. Alan was never about what job he had at the time. He was all about people and made friends with everyone he met. He told long winded stories that were partly truth and partly fiction but people generally found out that they were more truth than anyone could guess. He knew no strangers. People gravitated to Alan like a magnet. Alan loved fishing and golf and was an avid reader. He could talk for hours. His family dearly loved him. They will miss him more than words can say. He fought a long battle with heart problems and went to Heaven on March 5, 2010 at the age of 59. Visitation will be held from 5-8PM, Friday, March 12, 2010, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel, 6500 E. Bell Rd., Scottsdale. Funeral service will be held at 2PM, Saturday, March 13, 2010, Hansen Desert Hills Chapel. Donations may be made to Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
