Agnes Marie Seeley

Agnes Marie Seeley, 82, Leavenworth, died Thursday, March 29, 1990 in St. John Hospital. Services will be at 10:30 am Saturday at the Belden Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Mount Muncie Cemetery. The Rev. Michael Eurit, of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate. Visitation with the family will be from 6 to 8 pm today at Belden Chapel.

Mrs. Seeley was born in Lawrence Sept 28, 1906 to Richard and Bessie Stratton Nightengale. On Oct 31, 1926 she married Robert E. Seeley in Leavenworth. He survives at the home.

From 1943 to 1945 she worked at the Remington Arms Company in Independence, Mo., as an ammunition packer. She was also a homemaker. Mrs. Seeley had lived in Leavenworth with her husband for the last five years coming from Bena, Minn where they had operated two resorts for the past 31 years. She was a protestant.

Other survivors include her sister, Juanita Davis, Grants Pass, Ore; two grandchildren, Crystal Cason and Lesley Parsons; and two great-grandchildren, Paul Cason and Schon Cason.

Mrs. Seeley was preceded in death by a daughter, Betty Seeley Parsons, Feb 15, 1970, and several brothers and sisters.

The family suggests contributions to St. John Hospital.
