MISS EVANS TO WED WILLIAM I. SEELEY
The engagement of Miss Bertha E. Evans, 100 East Main street, to William Irving Seeley was announced at a party on Washington’s Birthday at Ireland Carriers Hotel. Miss Evans is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Evans of Monticello. Mr. Seeley is a son of Mr. and Mrs. William M. Seeley, 109 East Main street.

Son of Former Fire Chief Wed
W.I. Seeley and Miss Evans Married
William I. Seeley, son of former Fire Chief William M. Seeley and Mrs. Seeley, 109 East Main street, was married yesterday afternoon to Miss Bertha E. Evans, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. John Evans of Monticello.
The Rev. Harold L. Andress, rector of Grace Episcopal Church, performed the ceremony in St. Johns Episcopal Church, Monticello. Mrs. John E. Lattimer of Middletown was the bride’s attendant, Chester Seeley was his brother’s best man.
The bride was gowned in white lace and net and carried a shower bouquet of white carnations and baby’s breath. Her long veil was fastened to a wreath of flowers. Mrs. Lattimer’s gown was of azure blue taffeta with fuchsia accents. She wore a garden hat trimmed with fuchsia and carried American Beauty roses.
A reception for 100 relatives and friends was held at the home of the bride’s parents. Mr. and Mrs. Seeley will make their home at 109 East Main Street.
