Seeley – Weed

Miss Wanda Marie Weed of Titusville and Vernon R. Seeley of Miami, Fla., were married at 8 p.m. October 28 by Alderman N. Allen Love at his home, 407 North Kerr street. The couple were attended by the bride’s grandmother, Mrs. Charles Muir, 116 East Linden place.

The bride wore a dress of blue crepe, with corsage of white baby chrysanthemums and pink rosebuds. The matron of honor and best man were Mr. and Mrs. Floyd E. Martin, cousins of the bride. Mrs. Muir wore a purple dress with black accessories. Mrs. Martin’s dress was black crepe with white accessories.

Following the nuptial service, a reception was held at the home of the bride’s aunt, Mrs. Goldie Proper. A feature of the supper was a three-tier cake topped with bride and groom, presented by Miss Imogene Rankin.

Many friends attended the reception and Mr. and Mrs. Seeley received many nice gifts. The couple will reside at Miami, where Mr. Seeley is employed by the Struthers Wells Corp.
