Scio Girl Weds Staff Sergeant
FRIENDSHIP – Announcement has just been made of the marriage of Miss Thelma Seeley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ray Seeley of Scio to Staff Sergeant Charles Lapp of Fort Bliss, Texas, son of Mr. and Mrs. Frederick Lapp of White Creek.
The ceremony was performed by the Rev. E.P. Nay at the Methodist parsonage in Scio Saturday evening. The attendants were Mr. and Mrs. Willis Johnson sister and brother-in-law of the bride.
Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Guilford entertained about ninety guests at their home in White Creek in honor of the recently married couple. Guests from Rochester, Wellsville, Scio, Cuba, Belfast, Friendship and Rienburg attended. They present the couple with many gifts. Mr. and Mrs. John Seeley honored the couple Wednesday evening at their home at a variety shower.
Sergeant and Mrs. Lapp plan to reside in El Paso, Texas.
