Salt Lake LDS Temple rites united in marriage Miss Sonya (Sunny) Seely and Charles Hardy Redd Sept. 2.

Parents of the bride are Mr. and Mrs. Lowry S. Seely, Craig, Colo. The bridegroom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Redd, Provo.

The couple was honored at an open house at the home of the bridegroom’s parents after the ceremony. Saturday they were further honored at a wedding reception at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride wore a gown of peau de soie styled along princess lines. The neckline was edged in lace embroidered with seed pearls. The floor-length skirt ended in a chapel train. She carried an orchid bouquet.

Mrs. David R. Seely was matron of honor. Other attendants were Miss Pat Robinson, maid of honor; Miss Fay Nielson, Miss Kathleen Seely and Miss Maraley Redd. They wore gold brocaded satin sheathes and carried bouquets of talisman roses.

Paul Redd was best man. David R. Seely ushered.

The bride is a graduate of Brigham Young University where she was a member of Van Norn social unit and the Alpine Club.

The bridegroom has attended BYU and Utah State University. He has fulfilled a LDS mission to Uruguay.
