At a party given by Mrs. Howard Henson, 631 Third st., for the pleasure of her sister, Miss Ruth Seeley, the honoree’s marriage to Glenwood Sparks was revealed. News of the marriage was made known on nutcup favors inscribed “Ruth and Glen, Nov. 23”.

Miss Seeley is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Amos Seeley of Haverhill, and her husband is a son of Mrs. Myrtle Sparks, 1719 17th st.

The couple was married at the home of another of the bride’s sisters, Mrs. Herschel Spence of Tipp City, by Rev. Harley Martin, pastor of the Tipp City Methodist church.

The bride wore for her quiet wedding a light blue wood dress, black accessories and a corsage of pink rosebuds.

She is a graduate of Green Township High school, and before her marriage was employed by Williams Mfg. Co.

Since his medical discharge from the army after 14 month’s service, the bridegroom has been operating his own grocery on Campbell av. He is a graduate of Portsmouth High school.

A pink and green color scheme was carried out at Mrs. Henson’s party, which was in the form of a miscellaneous shower.

Those attending were: Mrs. William Johnson, Mrs. Alvis McCoy, Mrs. Stanley Snyder, Mrs. James Seeley, Mrs. Amos Seeley Jr., Misses Mabel Duncan, Elizabeth Seeley and Helen Freymuth.
