Owosso Wedding of Interest Here

Of interest to their many Scottville friends comes the announcement of the marriage of Roberta (Bobbie) Seeley of Owosso to Ronald Cline, son of William Cline of Mt. Pleasant.

The announcement was made at a tea given by Mrs. Robert O. Seeley, mother of the bride, at her home in Owosso. The wedding was an event of Wednesday, April 2, taking place at the Seeley home at high noon in the presence of the immediate families of both bride and groom and a few close friends. The Rev. Rex Holman of the Congregational church read the service and they were attended by Mary Lou Seeley, sister of the bride, and James Hahn. A wedding breakfast was served and the young people left immediately after, on a trip to Chicago.

The bride was born in Scottsville, living here until a young woman. When her parents moved to Owosso, she entered high school there, graduating with the class of 1932 and later she attended Michigan State college. For the past five years she has served as secretary to the state librarian at Lansing.

Mr. Cline is a graduate of the Ohio University and is employed by the Rupher Drilling company of Mt. Pleasant.

The tea given Sunday was a very lovely event, spring flowers being used about the rooms in artistic groupings and the beautiful tea table was centered with a particularly lovely array of flowers. Mrs. James Hahn and Miss Harriett Nelson of Lansing presided over the tea service.

Mrs. Seeley received her guests in a lovely black and white spring print, a corsage of shattered white carnations on the shoulder being her only accessory.

Mrs. Cline was smart in navy accessories. Her flowers were yellow iris and shattered carnations.
