Johnson – Seeley

Mr. Hal Johnson of Oxford and Miss Ora Seeley of Larned were quietly married at the home of the bride Tuesday morning at 8 o’clock. Father Hilary Walsh of St. Paul performed the ceremony. Mrs. Julia McCarthy and Mrs. B.E. Sells, aunt and cousin of the bride, and Mrs. A.M. Johnson, all of this city, were present at the wedding.

Mr. and Mrs. Johnson left immediately for Kansas City where they will visit for a few days. They will return to Winfield for a short stay before going to Oxford to take up their residence.

Mrs. Johnson is well known in this city where she has frequently visited. She is a charming young lady of many accomplishments.

Of course everybody here knows Hal Johnson and the better they know him the better they like him. Hal is a Winfield boy, although he has been in the grain business at Oxford for several years. He is a young man of sterling qualities and is rapidly rising in the business world. A host of friends extend congratulations to the happy couple.
