James P. Seeley Wed

White poinsettias and Christmas greens banked the altar of Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church at 2:30 today when James P. Seeley, 2720 McDivitt Rd., claimed as his bride Miss Theresa Anne Dvorak, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond F. Dvorak, 2001 Jefferson St. Mrs. Emily Seeley, Platteville, is the mother of the bridegroom.

The bride’s Empire Ivory crepe gown was enhanced with lace trimming on the bodice, standup collar, cuffs of the leg o’mutton, sleeve and around the hemline of the long skirt. Her tiered veil fell in folds from a pillbox hat and her flowers were gardenias, stephanotis and holly.

Miss Katharine Dvorak, Chicago, as her sister’s only attendant, wore a muted deep green crepe gown marked with a front panel of pale green lace. A dark green velvet bow held her brief veil and her flowers were large red roses and holly.

Michael and Daniel Gitter, cousins of the bride, were acolytes.

Serving as best man for the ceremony, which was followed by a reception at the Park Motor Inn was Ralph Pennekamp, Edgerton. Ushers were Hugh Seeley, Elgin, Ill, and Anthony Dvorak, Madison, brothers of the couple, with Richard Duncan.

After Jan. 15, Mr. and Mrs. Seeley will be at home at 2720 McDivitt Rd. The bride, a graduate of the University of Wisconsin, and a member of Delta Zeta, Phi Beta and Phi Upsilon Omicron, is a music teacher at the Sun Prairie Junior High School. The bridegroom, a 1961 graduate in civil engineering of Wisconsin State University at Platteville, is a general contractor.
