Turcotte – Seeley

Miss Irene Elizabeth Seeley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. James M. Seeley, 109 Boutello street, was married to Roy Edward Turcotte, 24 Cottage street, son of Mr. and Mrs. William H. Turcotte of Keene, N.H., at 9 o’clock this morning at St. Bernard’s church. The ceremony was performed by Rev. James J. Donnelly and Rev. Francis J. Carroll celebrated the nuptial mass. The organist was Miss Mary G. Carey. The bride was attended by her sister, Miss Agnes F. Seeley and Clifford Newton of Winchendon was the best man. The bride wore white beaded georgette and her veil was caught up with pearls. She carried a shower bouquet of roses and sweet peas. Her bridesmaid wore pink taffeta and a black pan velvet picture hat and carried Columbia roses.

Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride for about 60 relatives and friends. The bride received a string of pearls from the bridegroom. She gave her bridesmaid a green gold bracelet and the best man received cuff links. The couple left for Canada, Niagara Falls, and New York. Mrs. Turcotte was wearing a traveling costume of midnight blue. She is a graduate of Fitchburg high school in the class of 1922 and has been bookkeeper at Brockelman Bros. Main street market for four years. Mr. Turcotte was graduated from Keene high school in the class of 1920 and is in the employ of the C.A. Cross Co.
