Gettysburg Couple Unite In Wedlock

GETTYSBURG – Helen Seely and William Agee exchanged vows in the Church of God in a ceremony performed by the Rev. Victor Nelson. Parents of the bridge are Mr. and Mrs. Floyd Seely, Gettysburg, and parents of the bridegroom are Mr. and Mrs. E.L Agee, Eugene, Ore.

Miss Leila Tennant presided at the organ and accompanied Marie Gerber as she sang the Lord’s Prayer.

Carrying an arm bouquet of red roses, the bride was gowned in net and lace over taffeta with matching gloves.

Mrs. Richard Elliott was matron of honor for her sister and Louise Tobin was bridesmaid. They wore matching floor-length gowns of pink and blue with head bands.

The bridegroom was attended by Richard Elliott, Wood River, Ill. and Wayne McGee.

A reception for 100 guests followed the ceremony in the social rooms of the church.

The home will be established in Gettysburg.
