Seeley – Palmer

Miss Helen L. Seeley, daughter of Mrs. Emma Seeley, of Ne w York City, and Lt. Dale M. Palmer, son of Capt. and Mrs. Robert R. Palmer, of Mansfield, were married May 31, 1944, in the Army Air Field Chapel at Lake Charles, La.  The ceremony was performed by Chaplain Albert Thomas before the altar which was decorated with white carnations and palms.  Wedding music which included “I Love You Truly,” and the traditional wedding marches, was played by Pvt. Norman Buckner.

The bride wore a street length dress of flowered white jersey and a corsage of gardenias and yellow rosebuds.  Her attendant, Miss Grace Babcock, of Lake Charles, wore white jersey and a corsage of pink carnations.

Lt. Robert Curran, of Lake Charles, was best man.

Lt. and Mrs. Palmer graduated from Mansfield Senior High School, class of 1942.  Mrs. Palmer is a student nurse in the Temple University, Philadelphia, where she will continue her training.  Lt. Palmer received his wings at Stuttgart, Ark., and is now stationed with the Army Air Force at Lake Charles.
