Rites Announced

Announcement has been made of the marriage of Miss Opal Lorean Adams, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Emery Adams of Dupont and Elmer Ellis Seeley, son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Seeley of 463 North Third street, North Vernon, which took place at 7 o’clock Friday night at the First Methodist church in this city. The Rev. Albert Ashley officiated at the double ring rites. There were no guests.

Attendants were Mrs. George Adams of this city, matron of honor, and George Adams, brother of the bride, best man.

The bride wore a light blue sheath type dress with corsage of white roses and complimentary accessories.

The matron of honor wore a dress of aqua blue print and corsage of white roses.

Guests were entertained later at the home of the newlyweds at 418 Pearl street. A two-tiered cake topped by a miniature bride and bridegroom was served from a table laid with a white cloth. The napkins were inscribed with the names of the couple.

Serving as hostess at the reception was Mrs. Florence Whitham of Dupont, assisted by Miss Ruth Graham of Columbus.
Mrs. Seeley was graduated from Dupont high school and is employed by Arvin in Columbus.

The bridegroom attended Columbus high school and served three years in the U.S. Navy. He is employed by Vic’s Marathon Service.
Guests attended the reception from North Vernon, Dupont and Westport.
