Bell Street United Church was the scene of a wedding at three o’clock on Saturday afternoon of Edytha Eileen Seeley, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George P. Seeley to Samuel Leslie, son of Mr. and Mrs. John A. Beamish, all of Ottawa. Rev. A.O. Lloyd officiated.

The church was decorated with ferns and Spring flowers.

Mr. Wilfrid Hindle, of Montreal, presided at the organ. Miss Jean Atkinson sang “Because” during the signing of the register.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and was attended by his sister, Miss Dorothy Seeley and Mr. Edwin P. Nunn was best man.

The bride wore a costume of navy blue in street length with a white flowered hat and wore gardenias.

The bridesmaid was in dusky rose with a matching flowered hat. She wore Johanna Hill roses.

An information reception was held after the ceremony and Mr. and Mrs. Beamish left for New York by motor. The bride traveled in a navy blue tailored suit with matching hat. They will take up residence in Ottawa.
