Miss Merriam Mohler and Daniel Seelye were united in marriage Aug. 28 in a sacred double-ring ceremony at Calvary Lutheran Church performed by the Rev. Henrik Engebretson.

Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Mohler of Swan Lake and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Seelye of Kalispell are parents of the couple.

Sprays of Figi chrysanthemums and yellow roses and seven branch candelabra decorated the church for the affair. Organist was Mrs. Henrick Engebretson and soloist, Mrs. Kenneth Siderius.

Honor attendants were Mrs. Britton Bell, Kalispell, matron of honor, Mrs. Gerald Brevik, Missouri, bridesmaid; Laurie Seelye, Kila, flower girl; Randy Bachman, Kalispell, best man; Myron Motichka, Columbia Falls, groomsman; Bruce Altenburg, Kalispell, and Michael Mohler, Swan Lake, ushers. Susan and Barbara Seelye, Kalispell, sisters of the bridegroom, were candlelighters.

The bride chose a princess style gown of white satin with Venise lace and pearl trim featuring a mandarin collar and chapel train. Her chapel length veil fell from a matching headpiece of Venise lace and pearl trim.

Serving at the reception in the church parlors were Mrs. George Zimmer, Lincoln, Neb., aunt of the bride; Mrs. William Stiles, Arlington, Va.; Mrs. Myron Motichka, Columbia Falls; Mrs. Gary Hewitt, Libby; and the Misses Barbara, Susan, Janice, and Melody Seelye, Sandra and Judy Lyon, and Lois Miller, Swan Lake.

After a honeymoon trip to Canada, Mr. and Mrs. Seelye will reside at 1007 S. Twelfth, Bozeman. The bride is a graduate of Bigfork High School and attended Flathead Valley Community College. Seelye graduated from Flathead High School, attended FVCC and will be attending Montana State University in Bozeman.
