Daughter of Late Actor, and $170,000 Heiress, Married C.R. Seelye
Miss Renee Boucicault, the 17 year-old daughter of the late Aubrey Boucicault, the actor, and a granddaughter of Dion Boucicault, was married yesterday at the Little Church Around the Corner to C.R. Seelye, Vice President of the Sterling Advertising Company. Mr. Seelye is 28 years of age.
Miss Boucicault was married with the consent of her guardian, Frederic C. Leubuscher, an attorney, who was put in charge of her estate last Summer by Surrogate Cohalan. The bride is a granddaughter of the late I.E. Holbrook, who left her an estate of $170,000. Last June Miss Boucicault, asked the courts to appoint a guardian for the estate and to decide whether or not she must remain with her grandmother, Mrs. Elizabeth C. Holbrook, until she was of age. Mrs. Holbrook fought the appointing of a guardian. Miss Boucicault lately appeared on the stage in “Along Came RuRuth.”
