Elizabeth Cullen and Bernard Seely Say Nuptial Vows

Elizabeth Faulds Cullen, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Walter Cullen, 62 College street, Milton, and Bernard James Seely, Janesville, son of Merl R. Seely, Edgemont, S.D., were married at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in the parsonage of Rock Prairie Presbyterian church. The Rev. Reginald C. White officiated before a candle lighted altar centered with a cross.

The bride’s white gown was fashioned of net and satin with train and a fingertip veil, edged with lace, framed the ensemble. Her bouquet was of stephanotis centered with a white orchid.

Mrs. Oliver Fleming, Delavan, the bride’s sister, served as matron of honor in a cherry brandy taffeta gown styled with molded bodice. Her cascade bouquet was of yellow carnations and yellow pompons. Tyayn Pertersen, Johnstown, was Mr. Seely’s best man.

One hundred attended the reception at the Poplars, near Milton following the ceremony. A yellow and white scheme was used at the buffet luncheon table. Mrs. Fred Moore, the Misses Virginia Wilson, Lila Thompson and Dorothy McCarthy served.

The bride chose a luggage wool jersey dress and black accessories for her going away outfit. Mr. and Mrs. Seely will spend their honeymoon at Miami Beach, Fla., and will reside at 646 College street, Milton.

Mrs. Seely is employed in the material department of Chevrolet division, General Motors, and Mrs. Seely works for Home Mercantile Co.
