A Kingston Wedding
Sunday at the residence of the bride’s father, David Seely, in Kingston, Okla., Miss Annie Seely was united in marriage to Alfred L. Jacobs of this city. The wedding ceremony was performed at the hour of 12:30 by Rev. Harrison of the Baptist church, in the presence of the family and the bride’s most intimate girl friends. The Gazetteer has known the groom for a number of years and there is no young man in Denison for whom we entertain a higher esteem. Mr. Jacobs as a young business man has no superior in Denison. He has worked his way up in the world and is a noble example of a self-made man. He is at present with C.J. O’Maley and has acquired his business education there. The bride is a very pretty young woman and was educated at the Gate City Business college. She, like her husband, has worked her way up in the world and is a stenographer of recognized ability. We do not know of a young couple who have taken matrimonial vows who are better suited to each other. The Gazetteer wishes the bride an groom long life and happiness, and as they grow older may they love each other better. They are at present guests at the Palace hotel. – Denison Gazetteer.
