Zona J. DeLapp, 78, resident of Salem for 38 years, died in a nursing home here Saturday.
Mrs. DeLapp was born in Lawrence County, Mo., Dec. 12, 1877. She was married to John S. DeLapp who died in Salem in 1942.
Survivors include four sons, Russell B., Lester, Floyd S. and Francis S., all of Salem; two sisters, Osta Yates of Anderson,, Mo., and Bessie Florreich of Chicago; three brothers, James A. Seely and U.T. Seely of Eugene; 12 grandchildren, and 19 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. DeLapp was a member of the Highland Avenue Friends Church. Final rites will be at the Howell-Edwards Chapel at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. Paul Barnett officiating. Interment will be at Belcrest.
