She married Shirley Joseph Hathaway on Aug. 30, 1940, in Chester, Idaho. Their marriage was solemnized on June 23, 1942, in the Salt Lake City Temple.

Beth was an active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She and her husband served as ordinance workers in the Idaho Falls LDS Temple for many years. She served in many callings in the church, including in a Relief Society presidency, but is best known for her long years spent teaching Sunbeams and Nursery in the Primary.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 9, 2016, at 11 a.m. in the St. Anthony LDS Stake Center, with Bishop Drostan Orme, of the St. Anthony 1st Ward, officiating.
