Jorgensen, Therese M. – Swartz Creek Age 82, of Swart Creek, died December 20, 2014. Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11 AM Saturday, December 27, 2014 at St. Mary Queen of Angels Catholic Church, 4413 Morrish Rd., Swartz Creek. Rev. Fr. Alan Jorgensen celebrant. Burial will follow in New Calvary Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held 2-4 & 6-8 PM Friday at Sharp Funeral Homes, Miller Road Chapel, 8138 Miller Rd., Swartz Creek, with a Rosary at 6 PM. Those desiring may make contributions to Society of the Little Flower, 1313 N. Frontgate Rd., Darien, IL 60561 (www.littleflower.org). Therese was born April 21, 1932 in Flint and had lived in Swartz Creek since 1969. Therese had been employed as a supervisor for Bell Telephone and as a telephone operator at McLaren Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Community of Swartz Creek, MI., Secular Order of Discalced Carmelites. Surviving are: husband, Lawrence; children, Jenifer (Ricky) Brownell, Lynne (Tom) Byrne, Lawrence (Ana) Jorgensen Jr., John (Tracy) Jorgensen, Rev. Fr. Alan Jorgensen; 12 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sisters, Joanne Mick, Phyllis Nash and Katherine Beach. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Jack and Jim Seeley; sisters, Patricia Goodwin and Carol Koziol.
