Shirley Sue Luttrell
Shirley Sue Luttrell, 90 year old resident of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, died December 21, 2016 at Washington Regional Medical Center in Fayetteville, Arkansas. Born January 22, 1926 in Prairie Grove, Arkansas, she was the daughter of Edward Seeley and Emma Carnahan. Shirley graduated from Prairie Grove High School and spent a short time in Washington D.C. working for the Pentagon. She married James Kenneth Luttrell on September 7, 1944 in Alexandria, Virginia. Shirley worked and retired from Gates Rubber Company in Siloam Springs, Arkansas. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in West Siloam Springs.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Kenneth Luttrell; one son, James Kenneth Luttrell II; her twin brother, Sherwood Seeley; one sister, Anna Jo Seeley, and her beloved father-in-law, Arlie Luttrell.
She is survived by one daughter, Sharon “Suzie” Luttrell of West Siloam Springs; six grandchildren, Tamara Sapulpa of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Robert Luttrell and wife Melissa of Siloam Springs, Derrick Farmer of West Siloam Springs, Angela Antrobus of Kansas, Oklahoma, Adrianne Jordan and husband David of Siloam Springs, and Courtney Edwards of Gentry, Arkansas; eight great grandchildren, Brannan Poole and wife Emily, Seth Luttrell, Hunter Wooten, Trey Jordan, Jordan Farmer, Hannah Luttrell, Logan Farmer, and Aleah Luttrell; and one sister, Frances Clementine Seeley Hembre of Fayetteville, Arkansas.
Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2016 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs, with Mr. Larry Ellis officiating. Burial will follow at Johnson Cemetery, West Siloam Springs. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Monday, December 26, 2016 at Wasson Funeral Home, Siloam Springs.
