Sarah L. DeLaney of Binghamton

Sarah L. DeLaney, 89, of 9 Doubleday St., went to be with the Lord, Tuesday, at Binghamton General Hospital after a long illness.  She is survived by 2 sons and daughters-in-law, Harold and Sadie DeLaney, and Robert and Margaret DeLaney, all of Binghamton; 5 daughters, Mrs. John (Eva) Cordick, Mrs. Robert (Louise) Kane, Binghamton; Mrs. Harold (Sarah) Hamm, Prior Lake, Minn.; Mrs. Jerome (Delicia) Padoleski, Medina, N.Y. and Mrs. Chester (Joyce) Ayers, Elbridge, N.Y.; 1 brother, Lynn Seeley, Binghamton; 1 sister, Mrs. Chancy (Mildred) Stanton, Binghamton; 30 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; several nieces, nephews and cousins.  She was a 54 year member of Conklin Ave. First Baptist Church and belonged to the 80+ Club of Greenmum Center.

Funeral services will be held Friday at 1 p.m. at the Frank L. DeMunn Funeral Home, 36 Conklin Ave., with Rev. Edward Elmore officiating.  Burial will be in Chenango Valley Cemetery.  The family will welcome friends at the funeral home, Thursday. 2-4 and 7-9 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, those wishing may make memorial contributions to the Conklin Ave., First Baptist Church Memorial Fund in memory of Sarah DeLaney.
