Sarah Hannah Seely Beal

MANTI – Mrs. Sarah Hannah Seely Beal, 71, died at her residence in Manti Saturday, 2 a.m. of a heart ailment. Born Mt. Pleasant, Sanpete County, Feb. 15, 1887, to Joseph and Sarah Hannah Allen Seely. Reared by a foster mother Miranda Omen. Active Relief Society and UWMIA, Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Temple worker, Manti LDS Temple. Member Manti Ladies’ Literary Club. Noted as flower-grower. Married to C.H. Beal, Salt Lake LDS Temple, Sept 6, 1911. He died Dec. 20, 1956. Survivors: daughter, Mrs. Glen E. (Eva) Anderson, Manti; five brothers and two sisters. Funeral Monday, 1 p.m., Manti North Ward LDS chapel. Friends call family residence Sunday night, Monday prior. Burial Manti City Cemetery, under direction Buchanan Mortuary.
