Sandra Fedoruk
Mrs. Sandra Ellen Fedoruk (née Seely), of Florence, OR, passed away on Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the age of 78. Sandy was born to parents Samuel Seely and Gethel Cook on April 10, 1939 in Wilmington, DE. She grew up as the eldest of two girls and attended Menlo Atherton High School. Sandy attended the College of San Mateo and received an AA in dental assisting, before practicing as a dental assistant from 1960-1974. In 1961, she married Nestor Andy Fedoruk, whom she met in Mountain View, CA. In 1975 the couple had one child, Claire Seely. Sandy was very active as a volunteer in special education at Claire’s schools. In Florence, she was a member of PEO and many other St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church organizations. She was an ordained as a Lay Eucharistic Minister for the Episcopal Church of America. Sandy and Andy lived in many states, finally settling in Florence, OR in 2000. Sandy is survived by her husband, Nestor Andy; daughter, Claire Seely Fedoruk; her cousins: William Day and Marsha Day Keller; her sisters-in law: Marie Foster and Jane Skulsky; three nephews, one niece, five great-nephews and four great-nieces. She is preceded in death by her parents, Samuel and Gethel; and her sister, Barbara Susan. Sandy was cremated on July 12, as per her wishes. A Celebration of Life will take place at St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in Florence on July 20, at 11 am. Friends and family are invited to attend.
