COONS, Ruth Vivian Peacefully at the Winchester & District Memorial Hospital on Tuesday, April 13, 1999. Ruth Coons (nee Seeley) of Brinston, in her 89th year. Loving wife of the late Charles Coons. Dear mother of the late Gordon Coons. Survived by her daughter-in-law Shirley Pedlar of Colborne, sisters Blanche Leroux of Prescott and Hilda (Mrs. Arnold Johnston) of Belleville. Predeceased by a sister Doris Shaver and a brother Graham Seeley. Sadly missed by 6 grandchildren, Wayne (Marilyn), Dianne (Sasey) Buynink, Candace, Coug (Laura), Joy, Bill (Margaret) and by 8 great-grandchildren. Also survived by nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Marsden McLaughlin Funeral Home, Iroquois on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A Rebekkah Lodge service will be held at the Funeral Home on Thursday evening at 7 p.m. Funeral service at the Brinston United Church on Friday, April 16 at 11 a.m. Donations to the Brinston United would be gratefully acknowledged by the family. Interment Sprucehaven Cemetery, Brinston.
