Ruth M. Hilliker
Ruth M. Hilliker peacefully passed away on Friday, November 16, 2018 at the Jennie B. Richmond Health Care Center in Springville. She was born in Hanover on July 30, 1940 to the late Harvey Seeley and Isabell Jacques.
Ruth was the loving mother of Dan Webber, Cyndi (Tim) Shook, Doug Webber, Randy Webber and Jim (Ethel) Webber. She was a cherished grandmother of Will Webber, Jen Webber, Holly Webber, Danni Webber, Darren Harvey, Matt Rizzo, Devin Mesch, Rick Rizzo, Laura Rizzo, Samantha Wojcik, Doug Webber, Jr., Steve Webber, Beth Webber Narraway, Matt Webber, Courtney Webber, Gabrielle Webber and Jon Webber. She also had 14 great-grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. She is also survived by stepmother, Rose Seeley; siblings, Burt (Roberta) Seeley, Ethel (Tom) Frary, David Seeley, Jessie Seeley and Rosie Seeley; and brother-in-law, Fred Reinschmidt. Ruth was preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Hilliker; sons, Randy Webber and Jim Webber; and siblings, Daniel Seeley, Harvey Seeley and Lanie Reinschmidt.
Ruth loved outdoor events, hummingbirds, the marbles game, playing cards, coffee, dancing, knitting, drawing, ice cream, but especially time with grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was very witty and a practical jokester. She loved to make people laugh. Ruth also loved being with and caring for people. She worked as a waitress, caregiver, and retired from J.N. Adams DDSO.
Ruth was a member of the Perrysburg SDA church and served as a Fire Bell at South Dayton Fire Department.
A memorial service for Ruth will be announced at a further date.
