Ruth Delores Zech, 64, of Box 45, Station Hill Road, Nicholson, died Saturday at home. She was the wife of Theodore Oscar Zech. They would have celebrated their 47th wedding anniversary Aug. 4.Born in Pittston, daughter of the late Edward J. and Mildred Stark Seeley, she was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. Before retirement, she worked for Thomson Consumer Electronics. She was a member of the Court Street Methodist Church.

She was a wonderful wife and a loving mother and grandmother who enjoyed spending time with her family and crocheting.

Also surviving are a son, Theodore, Nicholson; five daughters, LuAnn Rogers, Factoryville; Tamela Lee, Brackney; Nadine Sturdevant, Nicholson; Jodi Zech, Dalton; and Janice Stankiewicz, Kingsley; two sisters, Mildred Staff, Dunmore; and Beverly Mahoney, Scranton; a brother, Kenneth Seeley, Friendsville; 20 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by three grandsons and a great-granddaughter.

The funeral will be Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Charles H. Litwin Funeral Home, 91 State St., Nicholson, with services by the Rev. Edwin Simmons. Interment, Fairview Memorial Park, Elmhurst.

Friends may call Wednesday, 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to the Wyoming County Cancer Society.
