BIGELOW, ROBERTA (SEELYE) Of Swartz Creek, age 74, was welcomed into the arms of her loving Savior Friday, June 20, 2014 at McLaren-Flint. Funeral service will be held 12 Noon Monday, June 23, 2014 at New Life Christian Fellowship, 2237 East Reid Road, Grand Blanc. Pastor Bob Roberts officiating. Private burial in Bendle Cemetery. Contributions may be made to Missions for New Life Christian Fellowship. Visitation 12-8 PM Sunday June 22, 2014 at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road, Flint. Roberta will be at the church 11AM Monday until the time of the service. Roberta was born in Flint on July 11, 1939, the daughter of the late Ronald and Ruth (Somers) Seelye. On August 26, 1961, she married Harry Bigelow in Montrose. Roberta accepted Jesus Christ as her Savior and was a living example of Christ’s love to all who knew her. She was a member of New Life Christian Fellowship where she was actively involved. She loved her family and enjoyed gardening, cooking, entertaining, shopping and bird watching. Surviving are her loving husband and best friend, Harry; daughters, Renee (Ray) Moffat of Las Vegas, NV, Michelle (Geoff) Mince of Oxford, MI and Kim (Matt) Cornell of Flint; grandchildren, Ross, Ryan, Rory, Raeanne and Rebecca Moffat and Haley and Evan Mince; brothers, Rod and Randy Seelye.
