Mrs. Rita B. Burrer

After only 12 hours illness Mrs. Rita B. Burrer, 70, died Saturday at 10:30 p.m. at her home on West Ridge road.

Born in Mallet Creek, Medina county, on May 27, 1881, Mrs. Burrer had lived on West Ridge road for 33 years, She was a member of the South Ridge Evangelical church and of the Ladies Aid and Missionary Society of the church.

She is survived by two sons, Corwin S. Burrer, member of the Elyria Police Department and Earl C. Burrer of West Ridge road; two daughters, Mrs. Lucille G. Sprague of Mansfield and Mrs. Beatrice L. Hale of Elyria and 11 grandchildren. A brother, Earle Seeley lives in Mexico. Her husband, the late Edmund J. Burrer, well-known West Ridge road farmer, died September 9, 1949.

The body will be at the Sudro-Curtis Funeral Home where friends may call. Services will be held from the funeral home at 3 p.m. Tuesday with the Rev. J. Paul Sutherland officiating. Burial will be made in Ridge Hill Memorial Park.
