Rev. Freeda (Seeley) LEWIS LEWIS, Rev. Freeda (nee Seeley) died on Oct. 13, 2014 in Hamilton, OH. A former resident of East Bernstadt, KY and Tampa, FL. Freeda was born on May 3, 1924 to James Ansel and Lucy Seeley (Evans). She was preceded in death by her son, Benny Gill, both parents and former husbands Robert McCracken, Morgan Gill and John Lewis. Freeda, mother of 10 children and 6 step-children: Sons, Robert McCracken (wife Maggie) Sacramento, CA; James Gill and Anthony Gill, Hamilton, OH; Johnny Gill, Tampa, FL; Wayne Gill (wife Missy) Tampa, FL. Daughters: Judy Rudder (husband Jack) Okeechobee, FL; Connie Alcorn (husband Paul) Hamilton, OH; Nora Lee Gill and Nancy Harper (husband Roy) Tampa, FL. 19 grandkids; 45 great and 3 great-great. Freeda lived her life as if on a life-long mission working for her Lord & Savior Jesus Christ. She ministered to the poor, homeless and heartbroken, showing God’s Love and forgiveness. She was blessed with a radiant personality. She taught healing by touch and prayer. She was gifted with the spirit of discernment with the ability to know (Biblically speaking) the sheep from the wolves. Her phone was open to all who needed prayer and counseling. Family and friends are invited to join in a celebration of her life at Ivey Funeral Home 2565 Princeton Rd. Hamilton OH 45011. Family & Friends may visit from 10:00 to 11:00. Service begins Thursday Oct. 16 at 11:00 a.m. at the Funeral Home. Burial at Rose Hill Burial Park.
