Phyllis A. Keyes, 76

Mrs. Phyllis A. Keyes, 76, of 106 Beachwood Dr. Titusville, died at 6:33 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 15, 2007 at her residence.

Mrs. Keyes was born on Oct. 19, 1931, at Enterprise, a daughter of the late Burton and Blanche Wright Seeley. She was married to Cedric O. Keyes on Oct. 20, 1951, in Pleasantville. He preceded her in death on June 13, 1994.

Mrs. Keyes had attended the Enterprise School.

She enjoyed crocheting, cooking, flower gardening and taking care of her family.

She is survived by the following children, Edith “Susie” Rankin and Jimmy Keyes, both of Titusville, Dale Keyes and wife, Melanie, Roger Keyes and wife, Darla, and Brad Keyes and wife, Shirley, all of Hydetown, Bryan Keyes and wife, Xiaofang, of Centerville, and Rhonda Keyes and companion, Ray Tuszynski, of Pittsburgh; stepchildren, Jerry Keyes of Corry and Norma Metz and husband, Ted, of Titusville; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; the following brothers and sisters: Marion Paden, Daisey Jones, Ann Cartney, Charlotte Gustafson and Shirley Beers, all of Titusville, Margaret Wakefield of Warren, Burton Seeley Jr. of Oil City, Robert Seeley, Jack Seeley and Richard Seeley, all of Pleasantville, Virginia Hubert of Centerville, Donald Seeley of Spartansburg, Thelma Postalewaite and Marilyn Seeley of Erie, Alta Webber of Meadville, Gloria Van Tassel of Corry, Herbert Seeley of Chapmanville, and Alice Jones of Hydetown; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Best; two step-children, Ronnie Keyes and Barb Warner; two sisters, Stella Millard and Nina Mitchell; and a brother, Harold Seeley.

There will be no public visitation or funeral service. Interment will be in Union Cemetery.

The family asks that memorials, donations and sympathy cards may be sent to Roger Keyes at 12627 State Highway 8 Titusville, Pa 16354.

The Gordon B. Garrett Funeral Home, 303 N. Washington St., Titusville, is in charge of arrangements.
