Patricia S. Thurlow-Jordan, “Pat” age 77, of Elkton, MD, died Monday, May 12, 2008, in Christiana Hospital, Newark, DE.
Born on November 16, 1930, in North Attleboro, Ma, Mrs. Thurlow-Jordan was the daughter of the late Frederic R. and Mildred Stockard Seeley. A retired educator, she had taught in private schools in the area. Mrs. Thurlow-Jordan was a graduate of Mississippi State University for Women, a 1952 Fulbright Scholar, and did graduate studies at the University of Delaware.
Survivors include her husband, Dr. Edward Jordan; daughter, Hope Thurlow, Rose Valley, PA; and 2 grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Charles Thurlow, III.
A memorial service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, July 12, 2008, at the Unitarian Univeralist Fellowship of Newark, 420 Willa Rd., Newark, DE.
