Pamela L. Borden, age 60 of Galena, passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at St. Ann’s Hospital. Survived by husband of 28 years, Lynn Borden; siblings, Michael (Lisa) Seely, her twin Pat Seely, Jack Seely, Jeanine (Jack) Havnen; sisters-in-law, Pam Seely, Diana (Steve) Robertson; brother-in-law, Randy Borden (Vicki Milliron); nieces, nephews, and best friend, Kris Foor. Also preceded in death by her brother Doug Seely. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the DEVORE-SNYDER FUNERAL HOME, SR’s 3 at 61, Sunbury, where services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, interment Fancher Cemetery.

Pamela L. Borden

Pamela L. Borden, age 60 of Galena passed away Friday, April 12, 2013 at St. Ann’s Hospital.

She was born on October 14, 1952 in Columbus to the late Albert and Betty (Nesser) Seely. A graduate of Dublin High School in 1971, she worked 26 years at Grant Hospital in patient care and as a blood technician.

A member of the Epsilon Sigma Alpha Sorority and Harlem Rd United Methodist Church, she was also a former EMT with Harlem Township. She enjoyed bowling, as well as collecting angels and owls.

Family was important. Pam had a passion for working, serving, and helping others. With an adventurous spirit she always put the needs of others before her own.

She is survived by her husband of 28 years: Lynn Borden, siblings: Michael (Lisa) Seely, her twin Pat Seely, Jack Seely, Jeanine (Jack) Havnen, sister-in-laws: Pam Seely, Diana (Steve) Robertson, brother-in-law: Randy Borden (Vicki Milliron), nieces, nephews, and best friend Kris Foor.

Pam was also preceded in death by her brother Doug Seely.

Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Tuesday at the DeVore-Snyder Funeral Home, SR’s 3 at 61, Sunbury, where services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Bud Leskovac officiating. Burial will follow in Fancher Cemetery.
