Onita Seeley Marks
STATEN ISLAND – Onita (Seeley) Marks, 83, of Jefferson Boulevard, died Thursday (April 15, 1993) at her home following a long illness.
Born in Greenfield Center, she lived in Staten Island for the past 16 years. She formerly lived in the Middle Grove area.
Mrs. Marks was a member of Middle Grove United Methodist Church. She was also a former member of Woodlawn Rebeka Lodge in Schenectady.
Her husband, Jessie Marks, died in 1972.
Survivors include two sons, J. Paul Marks of Staten Island and Kenneth Marks of Fort Edward; one daughter Jessie Alviset of Delaware; two sister, Lois Seeley of Schenectady and Theo Morrow of Saratoga Springs; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Griswold Funeral Home, 1867 State Street, Schenctady.
Burial will be at Rock City Falls Cemetery at a later date.
Friends may call from after 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
