Mrs. J. Bain Rites Friday Services for Mrs. Olive S. Bain, 85, who died this morning at the Emmet County Medical Care Facility where she had been a patient for the past two months, will be Friday at 4 p.m. at the Stone Funeral Home. Rev. Albert Kaikbrenner will officiate and burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery Born Olive Seeley August 22, in 1882 at Saginaw she came to Petoskey in 1895. She married Jay. E. Bain, October 8, 1902, in Petoskey and they made their home here. Mr. Bain died in August, 1949. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and was active in the church organizations, a member of the Garden Club served as president of the Petoskey Woman’s Club and was active in the Coterie Club. Mrs. Bain is survived by two sons, Glenn S. and Jay G.; a daughter, Mrs. Stanley (Margaret) Sussman all of Petoskey; three grandchildren and a sister Mrs. R. L. (Lovina) Swartz of Greenville.
