Ola Mae Edsell Habeeb, 77, died Friday, Aug. 22, 2008, at The Richwood Nursing Home.
She and her husband, Joseph P. Habeeb, owned and operated several restaurants and lounges in Houston.
She retired in Las Vegas following her husband’s death.
In addition to her husband, Habeeb is preceded in death by her parents, Seth Warner Seelye and Nellie Louise Goldsmith Seelye; her sister, Emma Shibley; a brother, James Seelye; a step-brother, Buddy Seelye; and a step-sister, Catherine Seelye Lega.
Survivors include a son, Carl (Bonnie) Edsell; a daughter, Carol Hillebrandt; a step-daughter, DeeDee Carnes; four grandchildren, Don, Andy and Jeff Hillebrandt and Ola Denise Edsell; a step-granddaughter, Bonnie Lynn Burgin; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services were Tuesday at Heady Radcliffe Funeral Home, with Rev. Mark Spalding officiating.
Burial took place at Valley of Rest Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Carl Edsell, Don Hillebrandt, Andy Hillebrandt, Jeff Hilldbrandt, Alan Seelye and Steve Seelye.
